2018 Audit Peer Review

In an external review of the Corporation for National Community Service, Office of Inspector General (CNCS-OIG) conducted by the Government Accountability Office, Office of Inspector General, CNCS-OIG’s Audit Function received the highest possible peer review rating, which is a rating of “Pass.”

Government Auditing Standards requires each Federal audit organization to obtain an external review of its system of quality control every three years.  The results must be made publicly available.  The “Pass” rating means that the external reviewer determines our system of quality control was suitably designed and our adherence to this system provided reasonable assurance that we performed our work and reported results in accordance with professional standards.
